Acceptable Use Policy

The content standards, moderation, reporting and enforcement rules for AI-generated content on TryOnAnytime.

Last updated: 2026-10-14

TryOnAnytime ("we", "the service") provides AI-powered virtual try-on: a live camera try-on rendered in real time, and a photo try-on that generates result images from photos you upload. This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") defines the content standards, moderation mechanisms, reporting channels and enforcement measures that apply to all content uploaded to, generated by, or stored on the service. It complements our Terms of Service.

1. Scope

This policy applies to all content forms on the service:

  • Images: photos you upload (your photo and the garment image) and AI-generated or AI-edited try-on result images.
  • Live try-on video: the real-time camera preview rendered in your browser during a live session.
  • User input: the prompts and instructions you submit with a try-on request.

All try-on results produced by the photo try-on feature are AI-generated images, and are labeled as such in the product.

2. Content Standards — Prohibited Categories

You must not use the service to generate, upload or distribute any of the following six categories of content:

  1. Pornographic / NSFW content — sexually explicit or sexually suggestive imagery, including nudity.
  2. Violent / gory content — graphic violence, blood, gore, or content glorifying physical harm.
  3. Hate speech — content that attacks, demeans or dehumanizes people based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability or similar characteristics.
  4. Child-unsafe content (CSAM) — child sexual abuse material or any sexualized content involving minors. This is an absolute prohibition with zero tolerance.
  5. Deepfakes / impersonation — synthetic imagery targeting a real person without authorization, including face swaps, "undressing" edits, fabricated intimate scenarios, or fabricated statements/actions — whether or not the person consented.
  6. Copyright / trademark infringement — content that infringes third-party intellectual property, including unauthorized use of protected brand imagery or designs.

2.1 Zero tolerance

The following are acted on immediately upon discovery, and we reserve the right to report them to the competent authorities:

  • Child sexual abuse material (CSAM) or any sexual content involving minors.
  • Content promoting or assisting terrorism, extremism or mass violence.
  • Deepfakes targeting real individuals — face swaps, "one-click undress", intimate-scene synthesis, fabricated statements or actions — regardless of consent.

2.2 Generally prohibited behavior

  • Impersonating real individuals, brands or institutions.
  • Infringing intellectual property, likeness or privacy rights.
  • Passing off AI-generated content as unedited human photography in order to deceive.
  • Bulk-generating spam or fraudulent content.
  • Using jailbreak-style prompts or inputs designed to bypass the platform's safety mechanisms.

3. Uploaded Material Source Requirements

You may only upload photos of yourself, or photos of a person who has given you explicit authorization to use their image. You must not upload photos of other people without their consent — this includes celebrities and public figures. Before uploading, you must confirm that the photo is of you or that you have permission from the person in it (the product requires this confirmation at upload time). Having authorization does not permit generating the deepfake content prohibited in Section 2.1.

4. Content Moderation Mechanism

We operate a layered moderation system:

  • Automated review (real time): uploaded input images (your photo and the garment image) are automatically screened by an AI safety classifier before a try-on is run, and generated output images are screened before they are stored or returned. Content that violates this policy is refused and is not stored.
  • Human review of reports: content reported by users is manually reviewed by our team (Section 5).
  • Live try-on exception: the live camera try-on renders your own real-time camera feed in your browser session and is not recorded or stored, so it is not subject to asynchronous review. It remains subject to this policy, and its underlying model applies its own safety guardrails.

5. Reporting

If you encounter content or behavior that violates this policy — including misuse of your own likeness — report it to:

  • Report email: hi@tryonanytime.com

We keep reporter identities confidential, review every report independently and objectively, and aim to give an initial response within 2 business days (severe violations such as child safety are prioritized). Malicious or knowingly false reports may themselves be treated as violations.

6. Enforcement

Confirmed violations may result in one or more of the following, depending on severity:

  1. Content removal — deletion of the violating uploaded or generated content.
  2. Account suspension or permanent ban — temporary or permanent loss of access.
  3. Credit forfeiture — remaining credits on the account are zeroed out and are not refundable.
  4. Legal referral — severe violations (Section 2.1) may be reported to law enforcement.

7. Changes & Contact

We may update this policy as the service evolves; continued use of the service constitutes acceptance of the updated policy. Questions about this policy: hi@tryonanytime.com.
